area of circle= πr^2
given area= 4π
thus, πr^2 =4π
r^2 = 4
r = 2cm

Area of circle = πr^2 (here r = radius of the circle )

πr^2 = 4π cm^2
r^2 = 4 cm^2 (by cancelling π from both sides )
r = √4 cm

To note :- √4 can be equal to ±2 but length is always in positive so, the right answer is 2 cm)
