Given:

  • Circumference of a circle is 79.2 cm.

To find:

  • Radius of the circle.

Solution:

  • As we have circumference of the circle, i.e., 79.2 cm.

Formula for circumference of circle is :-

★ Circumference = 2πr

→ Circumference = 79.2

→ 2πr = 79.2

→ 2 × 22/7 × r = 79.2

→ 22/7 × r = 79.2/2

→ 22/7 × r = 39.6

→ 22r = 39.6 × 7

→ 22r = 277.2

→ r = 277.2/22

r = 12.6

Hence,

  • Radius of the circle is 12.6cm.
