Given :

  • Curved Surface Area of Cone is 352 cm² .
  • Slant Height of Cone is 28 cm .

To Find :

  • Radius of Cone .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Slant\:Height\:(l)=28\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{C.S.A\:of\:Cone=\pi{rl}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{352=\dfrac{22}{{\cancel{7}}}\times{r}\times{{\cancel{28}}}}

\longmapsto\tt{352=22\times{4\:r}}

\longmapsto\tt{352=88\:r}

\longmapsto\tt{r=\cancel\dfrac{352}{88}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{r=4\:cm}

So , The Radius of Cone is 4 cm .

The surface area of cone = \pi(r)(l) = 352 cm^{2} [r= radius; l = slant height]

\implies r = \frac{352 \times 7}{22 \times 28}\\\implies  r = \frac{16}{4} \\\implies r = 4\,cm
