Given :-

  • If its volume is 1,03,488 CM and height is 42cm.

To find :-

  • Radius of the base of cylinder

Solution :-

  • Volume of cylinder = 103488cm³

  • Height of cylinder = 42 cm

As we know that

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Where " r " is radius and " h " is height.

  • According to question

→ Volume of cylinder = 103488

→ πr²h = 103488

→ 22/7 × r² × 42 = 103488

→ 22 × r² × 6 = 103488

→ 132r² = 103488

→ r² = 103488/132

→ r² = 784

→ r = √784

→ r = 28 cm

Hence,

  • Radius of the base of cylinder is 28 cm

Answer:

28 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Height = 42 cm

Volume of cylinder = 103488 cm^3

We know that,

 \large \color{palegreen}   \boxed { \mathtt   {Volume \:  of  \: cylinder = π \: r^2 \: h</p><p>}}

 \large =&gt; 103488 =  \frac{22}{7} × \: r^2 \: ×  \: 42

 \large =&gt; r^2 =  \frac{103488 \times 7}{22 \times 42}

  \large=  &gt; r^2 = 4704  \times   \frac{7}{42}

 \large =  &gt; r^2 \:  = 112  \times 7</p><p>

 \huge  \color{palegreen}\boxed{ =  &gt; r^2 \:  = 784 \: cm}

r = 28 cm

hope it helps.......
