Find the rate gives rupees 280 interest of a sum of 56000 in 2 years

The equation is :

Interest = principle amount × time × rate

280 = 56000 × 2 × rate ÷ 100

280 = 560 × 2 × rate

280 = 1120 × rate

Therefor:

Rate = 1120÷ 280

Rate = 4 ℅
