Hello @Govind ur answer is written below HAVE A LOOK :

Like When We have to divide a triangle in a given ratio like I have given a Triangle with side AB, BC and AC with length x,y and z respectively.. I have to divide it in 2/3 then i will draw a ray AX and  BY as you shown in figure...

And will Plot AA1 AA2 AA3... all of equal length on AX ray...

and BB1 BB2 BB3..... again all of equal length on BY ray..

And then i will join my both given ratio with a straight line.. Like i will join AA2 and BB3 to get my triangle in a given ratio..

So Coming Back To Your Question... Count the Number of Lines u created on ray AX and Name Them AA1 AA2 AA3 AA4 AA5...

and do same on Ray BY..

and see the straight line joined the AA5 and BB4..

So we can Say that the Traingle is in ratio of
 \frac{5}{4}

Hope It Helps Govind...

GovindKrishnan: Thanks a Lot! ♥
GovindKrishnan: Bro, is it 5:4 or 4:5 ???
GovindKrishnan: When AA2 is joined to BB3, ratio is 2:3 as u said
GovindKrishnan: Then AA5 to BB4 will be 5:4 na?
GovindKrishnan: Thanks! ♥
