Let the ratio be k:1

Now using section formula.

X=2k+1/k+1

Y=7k+3/k+1

Put X ,Y in 3x+y-9=0

Since this point (X,Y) satisfies this equation so we put it in the equation to get the value.
I:e
3(2k+1/k+1)+(7k+3/k+1)–9=0
=6k+3+7k+3–9k-9=0
=4k-3=0
K=3/4
So ratio is 3/4
So answer is 3:4
