As we know,
x=(m1x2+m2x1)/(m1+m2)
xis given 4.
So,
4=(3m1+5m2)/(m1+m2)
4m1+4m2=3m1+5m2
1m1=1m2
m1/m2=1/1
Here we got the ratio as 1:1
Now we will use the formulae,
y=(m1y2+m2y1)/m1+m2
k=(-7+9)/2
k=2/2
k=1
