Find the ratio in which the y axis divides the line segment joining the points [5,-6][-1,-4] . also find the point of intersection

we know that ⊥ distance, d of P(x₁,y₁) from ax+by+c=0 is 
d= |ax₁+by₁+c|/√(a²+b²)


∴ lets find the ⊥ distance of A,B from x=0
the distance d₁, d₂ = |y corodinates from each point|  = 1, 5
the point X divides AB in the ratio d₁:d₂ = 1:5
so X = (0,(-6×1+5×-4)/6) = (0,-4.33)
