Here x1= 5 and x2= -1

y1= -6 and y2= -4 let m1:m2 = k:1

by using section formula, For X

x = (m1×x2+ m2×x1)/m1+m2

x= (5k - 1)/k+1 =0 [since y axis divides therefore its coordinates are (0,y)]

5k-1 =0

5k =1

k=1/5

therefore ratio = 1:5

now using this in section formula for Y,

y= (m1×y2+m2×y1)/m1+m2

y= [(1×-4)+(5×-6)]/6...solving this you can get the answer
