let the coordinates of the point be (0,y) and y-axis divides the line segment in the ratio k :1.

(0,y) = {(10k-4)/k+1 ,(12k-6)/k+1}

0=10k-4/k+1

10k =4

k=2/5  ==>the ratio of division is 2:5

now, y =(12k-6)/k+1

y={(12*2/5) -6}/(2/5)+1

y =-6/7

thus the coordinates of the point is (0,-6/7)

hope it helps...
