Find the ratio in which X axis divides the line joining the points (-4 -6) and ( -1, 7) taken in order​

Answer:

First u got 2 coordinates.So find the equation of the straight line from these 2 coordinates by using 2 point slope form.

Now in x axis the ordinates(y) has to be zero so find the value of x by putting y=0 in the equation u just got.Thus u got the intersecting point.Now just calculate the ratio using the formula of internal division

I didnt do the math for u instead I told u the way cause I am too lazy to the math for u.
