First we need to convert the given ratio into fraction,

= 30/15, [divide both the numerator and denominator by 15 since, the h.c.f. of 30 and 15 is 15]

= 2/1

= 2 : 1

3.You have to equal the unit first 

as 1 Rupee = 100 paise

so,

55paise: 100paise
= 11: 20


4.500 ml to 2 liters 

2 liters = 2 x 1000 ml = 2000 ml [∵ 1 litre = 1000 ml] 

Now, ratio of 500 ml to 2 liters = 500 ml : 2 liters 

⇒ 500 ml : 2000 ml = 500/2000  = 1/4  = 1 : 4
