Find the ratio of the root mean square velocity to average velocity for an assembly of two molecules one with a speed of 3m/s and 5m/s

Root Mean Velocity =
 \sqrt{ ({3}^{2} +  {5}^{2} ) \div 2   }
 =  \sqrt{17 }  = 4.123 \: \frac{m}{s}
Average Mean Velocity =
3 + 5 \div 2
 =  \: 4 \frac{m}{s}
Ratio of Root Mean Velocity to Average Mean Velocity =4.123:4=1.031:1.
