Find the ratio of water coming out of 2 pipes with radii 2cm and 4cm in one minute, if the speed of water is 1m/s.

as speed is same the ratio of flow of water will be proportional to their area of cross section. area = pie * r^2 .
area1 =pie*4
area2=pie*16
therefore ratio of flow is area1 /area2=1/4
