a) Rational number can be expressed in the form P/Q where P & Q are integers & Q is Not zero.

Between 2 & 4 there are infinite rational numbers. For example 2.1, 2.2,3,3.5.

2.1= 21/10, 2.2=22/10, 3=3/1, 3.5= 35/10.

All these are between 2 to 4. Please note that 3 is also a rational number.
