Find the ratios of volume of a cylinder,a cone and a sphere if each has the same diameter and height

Hey.

Here is the answer.

Let height be h, diameter be d or 2r for each

Volume of cylinder = πr^2h

Volume of cone = 1/3πr^2h

Volume of sphere=4/3πr^3

so, their ratio is h : 1/3 h : 4/3 r

or, 3h : h : 12r

or, 3h : h : 6d

Volume of sphere = 4/3 πr³

Ratios;

π r²h : 1/3 πr²h : 4/3 πr³

= h : 1/3 h : 4/3 r

= 3h : h : 4r

= 3h : h : 2d
