A-2
B-3

Therefore,(2S)^2 ×(3S)^3
=108S^5

Hope the steps are clear

Adithiya2002: ok with it?
akil1a: bro 2 a ka corner pa ha
Adithiya2002: english please...
Adithiya2002: see whether a is 2 or b is 2 ...for such salts,108 s5. wil come

The relation between solubility, [S] and its solubility product (ksp) for A₂B₃ type salt is - ksp = 108 x S⁵.

  • A₂B₃ type salt on dissociation release two A³⁺ ions and three B²⁻ ions.
  • Let [S] be the solubility of the salt.
  • It can be written as-

        A₂B₃       →       2A³⁺ +  3B²⁻

                                  2[S]      3[S]

  • Solubility product is denoted by ksp. It is the product of solubility of the ions of the salt.
  • So, for  A₂B₃ type salt, ksp = [2S]² x [3S]³
  • ksp = 4S² x 27S³
  • ksp = 108 S⁵
  • Solubility product of  A₂B₃ type salt = 108 x [solubility]⁵
