Let given points be A(x,y), B(-2.8) and C(-3,-5)

We are given, AB = AC

so, AB² = AC²

so, (x+2)² + (y-8)² = (x+3)² + (y+5)²
        x² + 4 + 4x + y² + 64 - 16y = x² + 9 + 6x + y² + 25 + 10y
so, x + 13y = 17
