find the relationship between P and Q is(-3, 9) (2, p) and (4, q ) are collinear.
Method of Solution:-
For collinear must be area of trangle = 0
We know that Formula of area of Triangle (collinear);-
a1(a2-a3)+a2(a3-a1)+a3(a1-a2)=0
Substitute the value of Required terms;-
a1(b2-b3)+a2(b3-b1)+a3(b1-b2)=0
-3(p-q)+2(q-9)+4(9-p) =0
-3p+3q+2q-18+36-4p=0
-3p-4p+5q+18=0
-7p+q+18=0
-7p+q=-18
-1(7p-q)=-18
•°• 7p-q=18
Hence , Relationship between P and Q is(-3, 9) (2, p) and (4, q )= 7p-q=18
