Hey Friend ☺

Let p ( x ) = 3x^3 - 4x^2 + 7x - 5

When p ( x ) is divided by x - 3 the remainder is p ( 3 )

So

p ( 3 ) = 3x^3 - 4x^2 + 7x - 5

= 3 ( 3 )^3 - 4 ( 3 )^2 + 7 ( 2 ) - 5

= 3 × 27 - 4 × 9 + 7 × 2 - 5

= 81 - 36 + 14 - 5

= 54

So the remainder is 54.

Similarly you can solve for p ( - 3 ) .

Hope it helps you ..!!
