let x+2=0
x=-2;
given-
f(x)=x³-7x²-x+6
by remainder factor theorem;
f(-2)=(-2)³-[7(-2)³]-(-2)+6
=-8-28+2+2=-8-28+8=-28.
hence remainder=-28.
hope i helped u:)

the remainder is -28 by taking x=-2
and put x=-2 in equation so -8-28+8
