 Given \: polynomial \:p(x) = 4x^3-3x^2+2x-4 \\</p><p>and \: g(x) = x-2

/* By Remainder Theorem */

 If \: p(x) \: is \:divided \:by \:(x-2) \: then \:the \\remainder \: is \: p(2)

 Remainder = p(2) \\= 4\times 2^{3} - 3\times 2^{2}+2\times 2 -4 \\= 4 \times 8 - 3\times 4 + 4 - 4\\= 32 - 12 \\= 20

Therefore.,

 \red { Remainder } \green {= 20 }
