Given

x³+3x²+3x+1 is polynomial divided by x-\frac{1}{2}

To find

The remainder

Solution

Let p(x) =x³+3x²+3x+1

&

g(X)= x-\frac{1}{2}

\implies\:x-\frac{1}{2}=0

\therefore\:x=\frac{1}{2}

Now putting the value g(X) in p(X)

p(x) =x³+3x²+3x+1

=> \frac{(1}{2)}^3+3\frac({1}{2})^2+3\frac{1}{2}

=> \frac{{1}{8}}+\frac{{3}{4}}+\frac{3}{2}+1

=>\frac{27}{8}

Hence ,the remainder is \frac{27}{8}
