Find the remainder when
x^3– ax^2+ 6x – a is divided by x-a.

According to remainder theorem,x-a =0

so,x=a

Putting a instead of x,we will get remainder as:

a³-a(a)²+6a-a

=a³-a³+6a-a

=5a

So remainder is 5a.
