Find the remainder when x^3+x^2+x+1 is divided by x-1/2,Using remainder

by using remainder theorem,
p(1/2)=(1/2)³+(1/2)²+1/2+1
=1/8+1/4+1/2+1
=(1+2+3+8)/8
=14/8=7/4

X-1/2=0
x=1/2
So, put the value of x in polynomial.
X^3+x^2+x+1
=>1/8+1/4+1/2+1
=>15/8 [Ans]
