i am still not able to understand ;/
Because
if we put -1 and its power is 31...it is odd...so the -1 remained unchanged and next it is given +31......so -1+31=30

The remainder is 31 - x^30
x+1
x = - 1
Substitute in x^31 + 31
= x^31 + 31
= - 1^31 + 31
= - 1 + 31
= 30
=> So the remainder is 30
x+1
