 p(x) = {x}^{3}  + 3 {x}^{2}  + 3x + 1 \\ g(x) = x - 1 \\ g(1) = 0 \:  \:  \:  \:  (because \: 1 - 1 = 0) \\ by \: factor \: theorm \:  \\ putting \:  \: x = 1 \: in \: equation \:  \\  =  {(1)}^{3}   +  {3(1)}^{2}   + 3(1) + 1 \\ 1 + 3  + 3 + 1 \\  = 8
8 is remainder
