first take out the zeros

5+2x=0

2x=-5

X=-5\2

now,

p(X)=(-5/2)^3. +3(-5/2)^2+3(-5/2)+1

= -125/8 + 3(125/8)+3(-5/2)+1

= -125/8 +125/8-15/2+1

=-15/2 +1

=-13/2 ans
