Given polynomial is f(x)=x³+3x²+3x+1

It has to be divided by x+1.

Then x+1=0 or x=−1

Put the value x=−1,

We get,

f(−1)=(−1)³+3(−1)²+3(−1)+1

⇒f(−1)=−1+3−3+1

⇒f(−1)=0

So,

The remainder is 0, then x+1 is divided polynomial x³+3x²+3x+1.
