Find the remainder when ( x3 + 4 x2 + 6 x - 2 ) is divided (x+5)
Ans: -57

here's ur answer...

given :-

p(x) = x³ + 4x² + 6x - 2

g(x) = x + 5

x + 5 = 0

x = -5

on putting values :-

p(-5) = (-5)³ + 4(-5)² + 6(-5) - 2

= -125 + 100 - 30 - 2

= -25 - 32

= -57

hence, remainder is -57

= x² - x + 11 remainder -57
