p(x) = x³ + 2x² - 3x + 1
g(x) = x+2 = 0
     ∴ x = -2
Puttin as p(-2)
p(-2) = (-2)³ + 2(-2)² - 3(-2) + 1
        = -8 + 8 + 6 +1
        = 7
∴ The remainder is 7
you can find this by performing long division also.
