The answer is B) 6 ohm
explanation:-
first of all take the resistors which are connected in parallel. the formula for resistance in parallel

1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2

putting values in above formula

1/Rp = 1/4 + 1/4
= 1+1/4 (by taking LCM)
=2/4
1/Rp = 1/2
Taking Reciprocals
Rp = 2

Now take in series
to calculate resistance in series tge dormula is
Rs = R1 + R2
Rs = 4 + 2
Rs= 6
therefore the answer is 6 ohms
