Root mean square speed

= √(3RT/M)

Were;

R= Universal gas constant

T= temperature

M = Molecular mass of gas

Molecular mass of CO2 is

12+2(16) =44g/mol

= 0.044kg/mol

Temperature, t = 27°C = T= (27+273)

=300K

R = 8.314J/Kmol

RMS velocity c is

√{(3×8.314×300) /(0.044)}

=412.382215 m/s

Hope you got it!
