now , 6x - 2 / x = 1 now change it in the general formula " ax ? + bx + c = 0 "

( 6x2 - 2 ) / x = 1

6x2 - 2 = x

6x2 - x - 2 = 0

6x2 - 4x + 3x - 2 = 0

2x ( 3x - 2 ) + 1 ( 3x - 2 ) = 0

( 2x + 1 ) ( 3x - 2 ) = 0

x = -1/2 , x = 2/3
