2x + 48 - 4 = 0 \\ a = 2  \:  \: \: b = 48  \:  \: \: c =  - 4 \\ x =  - b +   - \sqrt{} b {}^{2} - 4ac \div 2a \\ = - 48 +  - \sqrt{}48 {}^{2} - 4 \times 2 \times - 4 \div 2 \times 2 \\= - 48 + - 56 \\ x= - 48 + 56 /4\:  \:  \:  \:  \: or \: x =  - 48 - 56 /4\\ x =8/4 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: or \: x = - 104/4

x=2 or x=-26

Therefore,X=4 or X=-26

HOPE IT HELPS YOU DEAR..........
