Write an activity to show the reaction between Zinc Granules and Hydrochloric Acid/Sulphuric Acid. (YOUR ACTIVITY SHOULD INCLUDE-AIM, MATERIALS REQUIRED, PROCEDURE, OBSERVATION, CONCLUSION, AND CHEMICAL EQUATION)___CLASS 10 (NCERT)...
I WILL MARK BRAINLIEST TO THAT ANSWER WHICH WILL GIVE ITS ANSWER ACCORDING TO THE WAY GIVEN IN QUESTION.
Answers
Answer:
materials required----
zinc granules ,dilute sulphuric or hydrochloric acid , beaker .
procedure---
step 1 take some zinc granuales in a beaker.
step 2 add some drops of dilute sulphuric acid.
step 3 place a lighter above the beaker , to observe a pop-pop sound.
observation----
the temperature of reaction mixture will rise on and you will observe the presence of hydrogen gas *(by pop pop sound).
conclusion---
when zinc granules are reacted with dilute hydrochloric or sulphuric acid , there is an evolution of hydrogen gas and it is an exothermic chemical reaction.
chemical eqt. -----
Zn + H2SO4 -} ZnSO4 + H2O + heat
Explanation:
take a conical flask, put zinc granules
a dilute sulphuric acid, and close it with cork and inside cork with glass tube shown in figure
place a lighter above the beaker, to observe a pop sound.
