Answer:x²=4

x²-4=0

when compared to ax²+bx+c=0

a=1, b=0,c=-4

b²-4ac= (0)²-4(1 X -4)

          = 0 -4(-4)

          =-4 X-4

          = 16

x = \frac{-b\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac} }{2a}

x= \frac{\sqrt{16} }{1}

x = ±4

∴x=4 ∴x-4

∴The roots of the given quadratic equation are +4 and -4
