Answer:

x^2 - 3x - 10 = 0

D = b^2 - 4ac

From the given eq,

a = 1, b = -3 , c = -10

Therefore,

D = (-3)^2 -4(1)(-10)

D = 9 + 40

D = 49

√D = 7

x = (-b ±√D)/2a

x = (-b + √D) / 2a , (-b - √D)/2a

x = (-(-3) + 7)/2(1) , (-(-3) - 7)/2(1)

x = 10/2 , -4/2

x = 5, -2

Hope it helps, if it does, pls mark as brainliest :))
