Step-by-step explanation:

(2 \div 5)x {}^{2}  - x - (3  \div 5) = 0

To eliminate the fraction we would take the LCM of denominators of all the terms and multiply with each of them

LCM = 5

Multiplying 5 with each of them

2x {}^{2}  - 5x - 3 = 0

2x {}^{2}  - 6x + 1x - 3 = 0 \\ 2x(x - 3) + 1( x - 3) = 0 \\ (x - 3)(2 x + 1) = 0

Hence

x – 3 = 0

x = 3

or

2x + 1 = 0

2x = – 1

x = –1 / 2
