3x^2 + 15x - 18=0

Divide through by 3

3x^2/3 +15x/3 - 18/3 =0/3

x^2 +5x - 6 =0

x^2 +6x - x -6 =0

x(x +6) - 1(x +6) = 0

x - 1 =0, x+6=0.

x =1 ,x =-6
