Hi ,


9x - 4 = 0 is a Linear equation in


one variable .


So , it has only one root .


9x - 4 = 0


=> 9x = 4


=> x = 4/9


Therefore ,


4/9 is a root of given simple


equation 9x - 4 = 0


Verification :


Substitute x = 4/9 in given equation


9( 4/9 ) - 4 = 0


=> 4 - 4 = 0


=> 0 = 0 ( True )
