It is given that ,
nth term = tn = 2n - 5 ----( 1 )
Let , n = 2
Second term = t2 = 2× 2 - 5
t2 = 4 - 5
t2 = -1
If n = 3 ,
Third term = t3 = 2 × 3 - 5
t3 = 6 - 5
t3 = 1
Therefore ,
Second and Third terms in the
Sequence are t2 = -1 , t3 = 1
