Step-by-step explanation:
y = cosx ( 1 - cos^2x)
y = cosx - cos^3x
First order derivative = -sinx - (3cos^2x × - sinx)
= - sinx + 3sinx cos^2x
For second order derivative, again change cos^2x to 1 - sin^2x and do differentiation
