Let the sides of ∆ ABC be a= 40m, b = 32cm, 24m.

To find area we must use Heron's formula because we are not given the height.

Using Heron's formula, we get:-

semi perimeter = a+b+c/2.

=40+32+24/2.

= 48m.

s-a=48-40=8m.

s-b= 48-32= 16m.
