Let,$\pi$ be $\frac{22}{7}$

$\mapsto$  Area of semicircle = $\frac{1}{2} \times$ $\frac{22}{7} \times 5^2$

$\mapsto$                                 = $\frac{1}{2} \times$  $\frac{22}{7} \times 5 \times 5$

$\mapsto$                                 = $\frac{22}{14}$ × 25

$\mapsto$                                 = $\frac{550}{14}$

$\mapsto$                                 = 39.28 cm

$\mapsto$ The area of semicircle is 39.28 cm.
