\bigstar Question :

\mapsto Find the area of semicircle of the radius 5 cm.

\bigstar To Find :

\mapsto Semicircle = ?

\bigstar Given :

\mapsto Radius(r) = 5 cm.

\bigstar Required Formula :

\mapsto Area of semi circle = \frac{1}{2}\pi r^{2}

\bigstar Solution :

Let,\pi be \frac{22}{7}

\mapsto  Area of semicircle = \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 5^2

\mapsto                                 = \frac{1}{2} \times  \frac{22}{7} \times 5 \times 5

\mapsto                                 = \frac{22}{14} × 25

\mapsto                                 = \frac{550}{14}

\mapsto                                 = 39.28 cm

\bigstar Answer :

\mapsto The area of semicircle is 39.28 cm.
