area = integration \: of \:{f(x) - g(x)}dx.

area = integration \: of \: { {x}^{2} + 4x + 3 - (  - {x}^{2}  - 4x - 3)} \\  \\  = integration \: of \: { {x}^{2}  + 4x + 3 +  {x}^{2}  + 4x + 3} \\  \\  = integration \: of \: {2 {x}^{2}  + 8x + 6}

Answer:

\huge\bf\underline\pink{AnSweR:}

Area of graph = Integration of

f(x)  - y(x)dx

 {x}^{2}  + 4x + 3 - ( -  {x}^{2}  - 4x - 3)

Integration of

 =  {x}^{2}  + 4x + 3 +  {x}^{2}  + 4x + 3

 =  {2x}^{2}  + 8x + 6
