Hey there !

Solution:

Diagonal of a square = a√2

Here, 'a' represents the side of the square.

Given that, diagonal is 5 cm. Therefore the measure of a single side is:

=> 5 = a√2

=> a = 5 / √2 = 5√2 / 2

Hence the side of the square is 5√2 / 2.

Perimeter of a square = 4a

=> Perimeter = 4 * ( 5√2 / 2 )

=> Perimeter = 20√2 / 2 = 10√2 cm

Hence the perimeter of the square is 10√2 m.

Hope my answer helped !
