Simple Interest

Principal amount given is 5600.

Rate of interest is 12%.

Time period given in days is  73 days or (2 months 11 days).

The formula for finding simple interest is

S.I. = \frac{P\times R\times T }{100}

Where S.I. is the simple interest on given amount in given time period on certain rate of interest.

P is principal amount.

R is rate of interest.

T is time period.

hence,

S.I. = \frac{5600\times12 \times\ 73}{100\times 365}

we have divided it by 365 as time period is in days. Hence dividing the number of days with total number of days per year.

Therefore S.I. will be  134.4
