Answer:

S O L U T I O N :

Given :

Principal, (P) = Rs.10000

Simple Interest, (SI) = Rs.3200

Rate, (R) = 8% p.a

Explanation :

As we know that formula of the Simple Interest :

S.I = Principal × Rate × Time/100

According to the question :

➝ Simple Interest = PRT/100

➝ Time = S.I × 100/P × R

➝ Time = 3200 × 100/10000 × 8

➝ Time = 320000/80000

➝ Time = 32/8

➝ Time = 4 years

Thus,

The time or period of the interest will be 4 years .
